Metsähovi Solar researchers observed a partial solar eclipse on 4.1.2011.

Metsähovi Solar researchers observed a partial solar eclipse that occurred between 09:32 and 12:13 local time on 4.1.2011. Radio observations of solar eclipses are much rarer than those made using visible light. In total eight solar map images were made using the 13,7-meter telescope at 37 GHz between 10:35 and 12:12. The solar maps show the Moon gliding in front of the Sun from right to left.
